New login with Zoll-Ident App

Authenticator for the Customs Portal

With the new App you can log in quickly and securely in the Customs Portal.

For companies, providing access to additional users of a business customer account has been made easier: only one main user needs to have an account now to identify with ELSTER.

Conditions

You require an account in the Customs Portal and the Zoll-Ident App on your mobile device (e.g. smart-phone, tablet). To be able to use Zoll-Ident for an unrestricted login, you have to first identify yourself with an ELSTER account, BundID or your Online ID. You can then set up the Zoll-Ident App as an alternative option.

To set this up, install the Zoll-Ident App and add it to your account in the Customs Portal under "Login Options." Scan the QR code displayed on this page in the Portal and follow the steps in the App. After successful setup, you can now scan the login code on the homepage with the App and, for example, use Face ID for easy login to the Portal.

You can use the Zoll-Ident App with the level of trust you were logged in with when adding it. To use Zoll-Ident for the portal without restrictions, you need to identify yourself again with an option with a high level of trust.

Easier access for employees of a company

Advantage for our business customer accounts - only one main user now needs ELSTER:

For all company users, the Zoll-Ident App can be activated for full use of the Customs Portal. Using the Zoll-Ident App, business customer account users only need one code from the main user accordingly.

The main user of an account can generate the necessary code in the user management and forward it to the respective user. With this code, the Zoll-Ident App can be unlocked for all functions for the relevant user account. The user then has unrestricted access to the Customs Portal without ELSTER.

Further information

If the app is not used for more than a year, your access to the portal will be deleted for security reasons. You can add the app as a login again at any time.
