What do I need to to submit applications in the portal?
There are different access requirements for the customs services. The functions of the portal are limited if you only register or log in using your email address and password.
Citizen profile
As a private individual, you can use all services without restriction if you register with ELSTER, BundID or your eID. You can then set up the Zoll-Ident app and use it for unrestricted login.
If you register with your e-mail and password, for security reasons you can only use the following services:
- Cash declaration
- Deferral of enforcement
- Data provision – Financial Control of Undeclared Work
Company profile
As a company, you can use all services without restriction if you log in or register with ELSTER. You can then set up the Zoll-Ident app and use it to log in without restrictions. Other users in your company only need the Zoll-Ident app to make full use of the Customs Portal.
If you register with your e-mail and password, for security reasons you can only use the following services:
- Deferral of enforcement
- Data provision – Financial Control of Undeclared
