You can log in to the Customs Portal with email & password, ELSTER or the German online ID (German identity card, electronic residence permit). To identify yourself clearly, you need ELSTER or your German online ID for many Customs Portal services. Log in with the option you used during your registration. You can store further login options in your account later. You always have the option of logging in with email and password, but this does not however allow you to use all the portal's functions.

The Customs Portal can be used with all operating systems and on all common devices. On devices with small displays, there may still be display limitations in some sections. We are constantly working on improving the portal for you.
