What do I need to use the service?

There are different access requirements for customs services.

You can use all services without restriction if you log in or register with ELSTER or your German Online ID.

 If you register with email & password, you can only use the following services for security reasons:

  • Explanation regarding cash declarations
  • Industrial property rights
  • Deferment of enforcement

 If you have stored ELSTER or the German online ID card in your account, but are only logged in with email & password, your overview will also only show messages and operations relating to the above-mentioned services.
